Christian won SAA’s distinguished Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and graduated with Honors.
Christian’s “dream school” was Berklee College of Music. His dream became his reality when he was awarded one of their coveted Presidential Scholarships. Christian’s passion for music, versatility, tenacity, and strong work ethic has made him one of the most requested bassists at the school. He has played on every Berklee stage on multiple occasions. Some of his favorite performances at Berklee have been the 2016 Berklee Black Lives Matter Concert, the Singers’ Showcase Concerts in 2016 and 2019, playing with Robert Glasper during his Berklee Residency in 2017, playing guitar on Jubilee Christian Church's 2018 live recorded album, playing behind Micki Miller in 2019, and playing/produced Berklee's 2019 commencement concert honoring Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot, and Alex Lacamoire, also producing, playing, and was the Co- Musical Directing for the Radio Disney at Berklee's 2017-2019 shows.
